The first step; how can we help? Every client seeking tree services receives a complimentary property walkthrough where we will discuss any concerns regarding your trees. We will explore all available solutions and draw attention to any additional areas that may require action, while on site. With your goals in mind, we will strategize an approach that works best for your property and budget. If you’d like to dive deeper into the general health, risk and overall management of all of the trees on your property, we will set up a comprehensive evaluation conducted by one of our Tree Risk Assessment Qualified (TRAQ) Certified Arborists.
Plant Healthcare
Work with our highly qualified technicians to offer a measured and purposeful approach to Plant Healthcare. We take a holistic approach which considers the environment as a whole. We assess, identify and address emerging plant health conditions on your property; providing disease interventions, integrative pest management, soil improvement and treatments of other ailments affecting trees and shrubs. We offer continuous maintenance and monitoring of treated specimens to provide evolving care plans which promote long-term vitality. Acer Tree Co. complies with all Vermont state safety regulations to ensure proper and safe product applications and historical data tracking.
Pruning

Cabling + Bracing
Sometimes our most loved trees need a little extra support. For the right candidates, installing supplemental support can be a great option to retain important trees in your landscape. This support comes in various forms, depending on the situation. We can install steel cables high in the tree canopy, place threaded rods through actively splitting unions, introduce props for long low limbs, and more.
Removals
Removing trees can mean so much more than just felling them. While traditional felling techniques continue to play an extremely important role in Arboriculture, when trees overshadow valuable buildings or infrastructure, it’s time to take a different approach. We specialize in hazardous tree removals which are in close proximity to homes, businesses and other valuable structures. By deploying experienced climbers, strategic rigging and specialized machinery we greatly reduce potential risk of property damage and can address trees which are difficult to access.

Enhance, retain or expand your beautiful view of the Vermont landscape. On average, tree growth encroaches upon pre-existing views every 7-10 years. The solution doesn’t need to mean acres of your beautifully forested land gets cleared. After understanding exactly what your goals are and which trees are responsible for the obstruction, we will present you with multiple approaches in selective pruning or removal of individual trees to improve your view.
Storm + Emergency Response
When trees experience forces that exceed their structural capacities, they will fail. Occasionally these failures cause damage to buildings, disruption to roadways, power outages and other problems that cause an unexpected and immediate need for assistance. When disaster strikes your property, we deploy an emergency team at our earliest possible convenience, and if needed, work with insurance companies and provide guidance for our clients.
